BROCKTON, MA. –The Brockton Rox are set to embark on their final northern road trip of the 2025 season, as they gear up to face off against the Ottawa Titans and Trois-Rivières. This will be Brockton's final road trip of the season.

Currently, Ottawa has a narrow lead in the season series against Brockton, five games to four.  Analyzing the performance of both teams, the Rox have demonstrated a strong offensive display with a solid team batting average of .321 throughout the series. In contrast, the Titans have a .237 batting average against Brockton this season. On the pitching front, Brockton has an earned run average (ERA) of 4.43, which is markedly better than Ottawa's 5.75, highlighting the competitive edge in Brockton's pitching staff during their nine head-to-head matchups this season.

The last clash between these two teams took place on July 18-20, where Ottawa secured two victories out of three games against the Rox. Notably, the Titans have prevailed in three of their last four confrontations with Brockton, indicating a recent trend in their favor.

As the teams prepare for these crucial games, Ottawa enters the series riding a wave of momentum, having won its last five games consecutively. They are making a final push to clinch the last playoff spot, with only nine games left in the regular season. Currently, they are just 1.5 games ahead of the New York Boulders for the final playoff position. The Titans have won nine of their last ten games.

Brockton looks to regroup after having lost six of its last ten games. This includes getting swept by the first-place Quebec Capitales during the previous week. They now aim to play the role of spoilers and thwart Ottawa's playoff aspirations.

Cristian Inoa is a player to keep an eye on for the Ottawa team. Currently, he has a seven-game hitting streak and has racked up 15 hits in his last 30 at-bats, translating to a .500 batting average during this stretch. Notably, Inoa showcased his talent with a standout performance in the first game of a doubleheader against Trois-Rivières, where he recorded a two-home run game on August 19, contributing to the Titans' decisive 14-5 victory. Throughout this hot streak, he has also tallied eight RBIs and seven extra-base hits.
