2008 YOUTH BASEBALL CAMP
 
Join us for one of our annual camps of instruction and excitement this summer! Come learn from the best as the Brockton Rox players and coaches teach the fundamentals of the game – hitting, pitching, and fielding – in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
COACHING COMMITMENT
The Brockton Rox are committed to promoting youth baseball in New England. This commitment begins with our “Skipper,” Manager Chris Miyake. Bringing a professionally run youth baseball camp to Brockton and the surrounding community is extremely important to Chris and the Rox. With decades of baseball experience, Miyake is passionate about teaching kids the skills they need to succeed on and off the field.
To ensure that our campers receive the highest level of instruction, Chris will be joined by Rox players and coaches. Together they will provide a fun-filled, educational experience your child will never forget.
LOCATION
Campers will have the unique opportunity to take swings, field grounders, and run down fly balls on the same field as the Rox! Boys and girls will play and learn at beautiful Campanelli Stadium in Brockton.
AGES
The camp is open to ballplayers between the ages of 6-13 years.
Campers will be grouped according to age and ability level.
DATES AND TIMES
Session I: July 21st-24th
Session II: August 4th-7th
*Camp runs from 9AM-1PM with the exception of the Rox game on Day 3.
COST
$150 per camper
ENJOY A ROX GAME!
On Day 3 of each session campers will attend a Rox matinee game. Campers will be invited to go through pre-game warm up routines with the team starting at 9AM and then stay and enjoy the game starting at noon. Each camper will receive $5 in Petti cash to use during the game and will be supervised by the Rox staff.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES
In addition to four days of professional baseball instructions from Rox Manager Chris Miyake and Rox players, campers will receive the following:
- An official camp t-shirt
- Personalized baseball card photo
- Ticket for each camper to attend the July 23rd or August 6th matinee games (additional tickets must be purchased in advance through camp coordinator)
- $5 Petti Cash for lunch during the game
- Lunch
During the camp's Graduation Ceremony, campers will receive:
- Personalized announcement with a photo display on the video board
- A Certificate of Completion
- A chance to pose for pictures with their favorite Rox players
- A team photo to be e-mailed to all participants
PARENT INFORMATION PACK
A parent information package, outlining what each camper’s parents should know, will be mailed after registration.
